We are a team of highly experienced professionals who have specialized within the senior care market since 1983. After gaining years of valuable knowledge within the Long-Term Care, Medical Practice, Medicare Supplement, Asset Preservation, and Senior Care Services industry, American Home Care Service’s partners decided to create a newer, smarter, and better approach to home health care in America. Being surrounded by a Medical practice, Insurance and Financial agencies for the majority of the team’s careers, we knew the system was not working and the need for a better way was necessary.
We created a membership approach to home health care services, we removed the old school insurance mentality, as well as the high cost of traditional long-term care insurance. the need for claims, forms, claim denial, exclusions, age limits, etc. We eliminated the age and health factor. Additionally, our membership plans stay the same low price regardless of our Members health or age.
John D’Angelo CEO
John is a Veteran of the United States Armed Forces and executive business management professional with an extensive international portfolio. Throughout his career, he conducted business and established offices throughout Europe, the Middle and the Far East, Central and South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
Additionally, he has been involved in the health protection business for over 38 years, with domestic offices located in Texas, Louisiana, Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Florida.
Todd Shermer COO
Mr. Shermer started his career in 1986 within the Hearing Aid business. By 1989 he owned and operated 3 Hearing Centers in Pinellas County, FL. In 1990 he created a joint partnership with a hearing aid manufacturer to supply audiologists and physicians (ENT’S) with high-quality hearing aids for their patients. This endeavor helped shape the model to run multiple successful businesses.
Mr. Shermer was in a position to sell his practice in 1994, which gave him the luxury of taking some much-needed time off to rest and reflect upon his next step in life. After careful consideration, he decided to become involved within the insurance and financial profession.
After working for a couple local firms, Mr. Shermer knew it was time to venture out on his own again. Staying within the senior care market, such as Long-Term Care, Medicare Supplements, Life Insurance, Annuities, etc. he started Elder Financial Group which focused on asset preservation for seniors. In 2001 he created his first marketing company within the financial industry where he trained and managed 160 Financial Advisors and Insurance Agents focused on asset preservation. This set the table for what would become an even bigger accomplishment for him in 2005 when he trained, recruited, and along with his team managed over 770 Financial Advisors / Planners, CPA’s, Insurance Agents, and Attorneys Nationwide.
Starting in 2012 he used his financial advisory background and contacts in the financial services industry to assist real estate developers and high net individuals to participate in the rebound of real estate market. In only a few years, he helped orchestrate hundreds of millions of dollars in transactions for developments within the State of Florida and North Carolina.
In 2019 Mr. Shermer was introduced to American Home Care Services, a membership-based home health care service business. Mr. Shermer was asked to help run the day-to-day operations as well as train and oversee new representatives for the company. After studying the industry and getting a true understanding of the business, Mr. Shermer accepted the offer and became the COO of American Home Care Services in 2020.

American Home Care Service provides a Concierge approach to home care services for our members at GREATLY REDUCED RATES. Our members pay pennies on the dollar for home care services compared to nonmembers.
